| STATIC LINE JUMP
In the
static line method the student is hooked to the airplane by an extraction
line, which aid to deploy the parachute seconds after leaving the airplane
(like the military jumps). After 3 to 4 hours of theoretical and practical
instruction, you will be ready to jump on your own from an altitude of 3,500 feet. Immediately after jumped out of the airplane, the parachute
will delay a maximum of 7 seconds to open. Once the parachute is open, we
will guide you by radio to the landing point during the 4-6 minutes that
last your descending.
We
used this method generally for the people who already have made their first
tandem jump and wish to remain in the sport. With this method we guided
the people until they obtain their basic skydiving license, after a
minimum of 25 jumps.
The equipments that we used are designed specifically
to make static line jumps and are regularly inspected by a Rigger certified by the Federal
Aviation Administration of the United
States (FAA).
The
static line jump is the traditional method of learning.
Location
The
Static Line jump is obligatorily in Calzada Larga (by Las Cumbres).
